The Hotham Park Country Fair has become the main family event in the summer calendar for Bognor Regis. In 2010 we shall be continuing with the aims of the originators of the Event in
providing two days of free entertainment and interest for all ages and showing the Park at its best.
There will be the large Marquee with crafts and goodies and many outside stalls selling a huge variety of craft items, plants, toys, books, garden ornaments and food. We enable many other charities and good causes to advertise and display their goods. We bring a taste of the country to the middle of Bognor Regis including wagon rides pulled by two beautiful Suffolk Punch horses.
The Bandstand will be the focus of the programme of entertainment with music, dancing, a magic show, Punch & Judy and displays, including some very clever dogs. Children will find lots to do with quad bikes, bouncy assault course, games to play and animals to see.
Refreshments will include tea with homemade cakes, a beer tent, a ‘pig-in-a-bun’ barbeque, hot Thai food, ice creams, toffee apples and candyfloss.
A new attraction this year will be the opportunity to ride a mechanical Rodeo Bull.
The Country Fair has grown over the years and in 2010 the Bognor Regis Lions Club are joining HPHT and providing some extra volunteers to assist in staging this highly popular Event. The proceeds will be shared between the two charities and will go to providing improved amenities within Hotham Park and local good causes.
The Hotham Park Country Fair opens at 11.00 am and closes at 5.00pm on both days.
